Missing my mom

yey! I finally have a DVD copy of Witch Yoo Hee and a better copy of Full House. Cheers for me! I've been dying to have these copies that I was even willing to go to Angeles all by myself.

These days I've been reflecting a lot.Mostly about what I want my future to be. I had a talk with my mom last last night, and this do not include any shouting or of any sort. It's some kind of mother-daughter talk, but at the same time feels like chatting with your best friend. We talked and talked until mid-morning, regardless of the fact that she has to sleep early because she has work the next day. I do appreciate it a lot that she stayed up so late just to hear my rants and my elusive dreams. I told her I would like to work in Paris or London when I've finished college. I told her I'd like to try UP Manila for college, she said I'd better be getting good fourth year grades if I really wanted to study in that university. I even told her about my crush. I described to her what he looks like but she really can't remember him. I'm glad my mom doesn't mind her daughter is having a lot of crushes, she said it would be abnormal if I don't have any and isn't it abnormal to have a lot either?*laughs* I told her almost anything that pops up my minds just to keep her awake so we would chat longer. Because I miss this kind of talks we had. All we had for the past few months were always quarrels, rude shouts, fights over petty things. That time, I wished we could always be like that and and not to fight again. If only time stood still. I'm missing my mom. A lot. :c

I told her that I am worrying about what course I would take. She said she would let me take whatever I would like to. I said I like Vet Med but I would choose Photojournalism over it. But I would like to take Nursing because it would give me job opportunities in London. So Mom suggested that I take Nursing and when I've finished the course, I can take Photojournalism. And I think that would be great. Besides, mothers know best. I'm determined to work in London or better yet, in Paris. But I need to get good grades and no more flunking ones for now so I could be admitted to UP. I've never been motivated like this before. I think I'll be focusing on my studies this school year. I need discipline, hard work and prayers.
